Week 4’s main slate was fantastic, especially for stephon828, who claimed the top spot in the Fantasy Football Millionaire on DraftKings! In fact, not only did stephon828 secure the top spot, but another entry from the same user finished 12th in the same contest. The winning entry secured stephon828’s “Crowning Moment” by posting an impressive 223.68 fantasy points, eking out a close win by just 2.5 points over the second-place finisher.
Here’s what the top entry looked like:
The top scorer on the main slate was Nico Collins ($7,200; 36.1 FPTS). He was also the most-owned player in the contest with 27.8% ownership. Even though he was a very chalky play, he put up so many points that he was a must-own for a top lineup. Collins is the top-scoring WR at this point in the season and has been a top-15 WR in three of four weeks. He finished this week with 151 yards on 12 catches and this touchdown against the Jaguars:
Although Collins was chalky, the winning entry wasn’t afraid to go against the grain with some contrarian plays. Another huge contributor to stephon828’s “Crowning Moment” in Week 4 was Jayden Reed ($6,000; 30.1 FPTS), the only other wide receiver on the main slate to get over 30 fantasy points.
Reed celebrated the return of Jordan Love ($6,000; 34.16 FPTS) by going off for 139 yards and a touchdown on his seven catches as the Packers tried to rally back against the Vikings. Despite being without Love for two games, Reed is the No. 2 WR so far this season behind only Collins and has produced over 20 fantasy points in each of Love’s two starts. The winning entry used a wide receiver in the flex spot as well, including Mike Evans ($7,000; 23.4 FPTS) and George Pickens ($5,700; 20.3 FPTS) to round out a deep and productive receiver corps. Evans had 94 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs win over the Eagles, while Pickens racked up 113 receiving yards to return value on his cheap salary of just under $6,000.
Pickens wasn’t the only Steeler in stephon828’s winning entry, though, since Justin Fields ($5,500; 35.98 FPTS) was the choice at QB. Fields was the highest-scoring QB of the week, edging out Love for the top spot by running for a pair of touchdowns and 55 rushing yards in addition to throwing for 312 passing yards and another score. Even though he couldn’t quite lead the Steelers back to a win to stay undefeated, he finished with a monster fantasy game and is currently the No. 6 QB in the NFL even though he started slowly. Fields and Pickens were an affordable stack that was very productive Sunday afternoon.
In the backfield, the winning entry included former Steeler James Conner ($6,500; 21.3 FPTS) and Panthers primary running back Chuba Hubbard ($5,700; 25.1 FPTS). Each running back was owned in over 10% of entries and was one of the nine running backs to produce between 20 and 30 fantasy points on the main slate.
In each of his two games with Andy Dalton ($5,300; 16.7 FPTS) at QB, Hubbard has put up over 100 rushing yards and a touchdown. Rookie Jonathan Brooks is eligible to return from NFI in Week 5, so Hubbard’s workload could be threatened in the future. However, he has been an excellent value running back in each of the last two weeks.
Conner has scored three touchdowns this season and has a pair of games with over 100 yards. He bounced back from a down game against the Lions and ran for 104 yards in Arizona’s loss to the Commanders.
The player in the winning entry with the lowest ownership was at the tight end position. The position has been very tricky to navigate this season, but stephon828 secured Week 4’s “Crowning Moment” by going with Taysom Hill ($3,800; 14.4 FPTS) at the position, who was only owned in 2.0% of entries.
Hill didn’t have a single catch, but the versatile contributor lined up at quarterback and ran for a touchdown and also lined up at running back for the touchdown in the highlight below. His rushing production was enough to make him the No. 5 TE on the main slate.
The winning entry’s defense came from the other side of that NFC South matchup, as the Falcons D had the second-best score of the day scoring a pair of DST touchdowns including this one:
