SEPTEMBER 29: Olave ($6,500) is officially active for Sunday’s matchup with the Falcons.
SEPTEMBER 29: Olave ($6,500) will play Sunday vs. the Falcons, per NOF Network’s Nick Underhill. The early update about 2.5-hours ahead of kickoff is a positive sign that Olave may not see any limitations, certainly boosting his appeal for GPPs. Olave has handled a 22.6% target share this season and he is coming off a season-best 20.6 FPTS vs. the Eagles. – Alex Hunter
SEPTEMBER 29: Olave ($6,500) will test his hamstring in warmups, but the Saints are “confident” he will play Sunday vs. the Falcons, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. However, it is unclear if Olave will see any limitations, making him a risky option that we should only be targeting in large GPPs. – Alex Hunter
SEPTEMBER 29: Chris Olave is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Falcons, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

With both healthy, New Orleans’ offense should once again run through Olave ($6,500) and Alvin Kamara ($7,600). The Falcons are tough against the run, but have given up plenty of fantasy points to opposing WR1s. Olave is coming off of his best game of the year vs. Philadelphia (six catches for 86 yards and a touchdown). Expect Derek Carr ($5,900) to continue feeding his top target on Sunday.
SEPTEMBER 28: ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that there is “some optimism” Olave can play, but he remains a game-time decision.

On Friday afternoon in practice, Saints WR Chris Olave ($6,500) suffered a hamstring injury, and he is officially questionable for Sunday’s matchup vs. the Falcons.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he’s day-to-day, so his status for Sunday is definitely in doubt.
If Olave is out, Rashid Shaheed ($5,500) and Alvin Kamara ($7,600) could get more work, but it would definitely limit the upside of the Saints offense. Kamara has also been limited in practice this week by hip and rib injury, and is listed as questionable for Sunday. Derek Carr ($5,900) would also take a hit to his potential upside if he doesn’t have Olave or Kamara to lean on.
The Saints are 2.5-point road underdogs for Week 4’s matchup in Atlanta.
