The Packers are expected to get Jordan Love back at quarterback in Week 4 against the Vikings. This is a big boost to Reed, who I like to score a touchdown vs. the Vikings. Currently, his odds to score a touchdown on DraftKings Sportsbook sit at +165 for an anytime touchdown and +950 for the first touchdown.
When Love and Reed played together in Week 1, Reed enjoyed a monster game against the Eagles. Targeted six times, Reed made four catches for 138 yards and a touchdown. Reed also ran the ball once for 33 yards, giving him another touchdown on the ground. While the targets were still there with Malik Willis while Love was out, getting his QB back should do wonders.

The Vikings have been great defensively both on the ground and through the air. However, a favorable matchup for Reed will present itself when he’s playing in the slot. The Vikings have CB Byron Murphy Jr covering slot receivers and that has not gone well thus far. He’s already allowed 16 catches for 209 yards and 13.1 YPR. It’s so bad that he’s on pace to allow over 1,200 receiving yards through the first three weeks of the season. This is one of the soft spots to exploit on what’s been a stellar Vikings defense thus far.
Grabbing Reed to score an anytime touchdown at +165 is a bet I’m making for Week 4. He have to keep an eye on his status, as he was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Hopefully, the Packers receiver will be able to log a full practice on Friday, clearing the way for him to play in this pivotal matchup in Week 4.
