Are you ready for the fastest women in the world to come together to compete for the largest purse EVER at a women’s track event in the city that never sleeps?
That’s right, Athlos NYC is just one day away!
Taking place on Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. ET at Icahn Stadium in New York, Athlos NYC will welcome the fastest women in the world, including Olympic Gold Medalists like Gabby Thomas, Faith Kipyegon, Alexis Holmes and Lieke Klaver. These outstanding women headline a field of notable names in events such as the 200, 400, 800 and 1500 meters as well as the 100-meter hurdles. Over at DraftKings Sportsbook, the favorites in each event are:
- 100M Hurdles: Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (-185)
- 200M: Gabrielle Thomas (-160)
- 400M: Marileidy Paulino (-475)
- 800M: Mary Moraa (-120)
- 1500M: Faith Kipyegon (-500)
First introduced in April 2024 as the 776 Invitational, Athlos NYC will feature the highest purse in the history of women’s track. According to the Athlos NYC website, the payout structure is impressive and looks like the following:

Additionally, Athlos NYC notes that “all athletes participating in Athlos NYC will earn more than the purse reward through our unique giveback program. 10% of all revenues from ticketing, commercial sponsorship, and broadcast will be re-distributed to all participating athletes, making this the biggest prize offering in the history of women’s track-only events.”
The events on track won’t be the only entertainment to be had, as the Grammy-Award winning Megan Thee Stallion is set to perform at the event.
