While those odds put him inside the top 10 for shortest odds to earn MVP honors next, there’s a big difference between +2000 and +350, the latter of which are Nikola Jokic’s odds as the favorite. Yet, Wembanyama is the most popular 2024-25 NBA MVP betting option on DraftKings Sportsbook.
San Antonio’s rising star has received 18% of the bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for this bet — three times Jokic’s 6%. Luka Doncic (+370) is second when it comes to the number of bets cast in his favor, pulling in 14%.
However, neither Wemby nor Jokic nor Doncic has received the greatest percentage of handle in this market. That honor belongs to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who has +600 NBA MVP odds.
