There were some big changes in the college football futures market after Week 4. Here is a look at the updated picture at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Tennessee: +1400 to +1100 to Win the National Championship; +800 to +650 to Win the SEC
The Volunteers had the biggest win of the weekend in college football as they took down Oklahoma on the road. The Volunteers had already moved up the odds board a lot over the first couple of weeks this season and now have the sixth-best odds to win the National Championship. They have two more matchups ahead where they will be big favorites before a massive game against Alabama on October 19th.
Verdict: Buy- I bet the Volunteers at +220 to make the College Football Playoff and they are now at -250 so I have been high on this team since this summer. This could be the last chance to get a reasonable price on this team in the futures market. They should easily win their next two games while other SEC teams have big games against each other, which should only move Tennessee up the board further.
Jaxson Dart: +700 to +500 to Win the Heisman
Jaxson Dart has put up some huge numbers to start the season. Ole Miss has played four subpar opponents to start the season and Dart has taken advantage of it, moving up to second on the odds board to win the Heisman behind only Cam Ward. Dart leads the nation in passing yards through four weeks but will start to face much tougher defenses, starting with Kentucky this week.
Verdict: Sell- Dart is a really good quarterback and should finish the season among the FBS leaders in passing yards and total touchdowns. However, things will get much tougher for him against better opponents and last season he struggled against elite defenses like Alabama and Georgia. He will play some of the top defenses in the SEC again this year including Kentucky, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Georgia. Dart just won’t have as many opportunities to run up his stats as Cam Ward will. Ward has similar odds of winning the Heisman.
Kansas State: +350 to +750 to Win the Big 12
Oklahoma State: +475 to +850 to Win the Big 12
There were two major changes in the Big 12 title odds as Kansas State and Oklahoma State both lost this week. Utah defeated Oklahoma State and it remains the favorites to win the conference. Meanwhile, Kansas State was upset by BYU in a game where Kansas State and its quarterback Avery Johnson looked really bad. The fun part is, these two teams play each other this weekend. The loser of that game is all but eliminated from Big 12 contention while the winner can revive their season and get back on track.
Verdict: Sell- I am selling both of these teams. I honestly couldn’t tell you who is going to win this weekend since both of these teams have been so up and down and if you bet on one of them to win the conference now and then they lose this weekend, you would be disappointed. Utah proved that it is the best team in the conference and other teams like Iowa State and UCF are more exciting contenders than these teams.
Michigan: +4000 to +2200 to Win the Big Ten
Michigan picked up a massive win over USC to rescue its season. The defending national champions are still alive after beating the Trojans and it shot up the odds board to win the Big Ten because of it. It played old-school smashmouth Michigan football and despite a big comeback by USC in the second half, Michigan held on and picked up the win. It has a few manageable Big Ten games ahead, but its schedule gets really tough later in the season.
Verdict: Sell- Michigan looked better on defense and on the offensive line but it will face much better defenses than USC later this season. Its offense is still as one-dimensional as an offense could possibly be. It will only get harder to stay fresh as the season goes on with no passing game. Even in the second half against USC, it seemed like they had been figured out offensively. It is hard to imagine the Wolverines beating Oregon or Ohio State and getting to the Big Ten title game.
