Let’s get into picks worth considering from Sunday’s NFL main slate, which features seven games.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Chicago Bears
Michael Pittman Jr.
Passing yards: 51.5
Pittman only has 52 receiving yards altogether this season. He obviously has the capability to crush this number, but he and Anthony Richardson cannot seem to get on the same page.
Although the Indy wide receiver has seen a solid number of targets to start the season with 15, that’s only led to seven receptions. These two cannot get on the same page, leading to inefficient play from Pittman — whether or not it’s his fault.
The play: LESS
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos
Chris Godwin
Receiving Yards: 65.5
Godwin and Baker Mayfield have done some amazing work together to open the season. They have connected for 200 yards through the air. Godwin’s receiving yards account for 42.19% of Mayfield passing yards through the first two weeks.
That should cause teams to adjust. But, how much can the Broncos adjust is the question. They gave up 77 yards to Tyler Lockett in Week 1. No Steeler pass-catcher had a particularly big day in Week 2 vs. Denver, but that’s more on Justin Fields.

Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings
C.J. Stroud
Passing Yards: 262.5
The Vikings shocked everyone by knocking off the 49ers in Week 2, but it’s not as though Brock Purdy wasn’t able to put up some yardage. On 28 pass attempts, the San Francisco QB logged 319 yards vs. the Vikings.
Of course, Minnesota made easy work of the QB they saw in Week 1 — but that was Daniel Jones. Very different from Purdy and, more importantly, Stroud.
Stroud hasn’t logged more than 261 yards yet this season. But, he showed as a rookie that he can crush this number, and he came close in Week 2 while building on his Week 1 total.
If Week 2 wasn’t a fluke for the Vikings and they’re for real, Stroud will need to step up. On top of that, there are serious question marks surrounding the health of Houston’s ground game this week.

Tennessee Titans vs. Green Bay Packers
Will Levis
Passing Yards: 202.5
Levis may have thrown for nearly 70 more yards vs. the Jets in Week 2 after posting just 127 in Week 1, but he still failed to get to the 200-yard mark through the air. That’s something he also failed to do in half of his full-length starts as a rookie.
Until he proves otherwise, it’s hard to ask Levis to hit on MORE in the passing yards department so long as the number is 199.5 or greater.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Najee Harris
Rushing Yards: 51.5
Harris is getting a good amount of touches, and he’s made solid work of his opportunities. After logging 70 rushing yards on 20 carries in Week 2, he was a bit more efficient with his 17 rushes in Week 2, finishing with 69 yards vs. Denver.
The Chargers will certainly plan to quiet Pittsburgh’s ground game since the air attack isn’t overwhelming. But, Fields and Harris provide a dynamic pairing. Certainly, a more dynamic ground game than the ones Carolina has, yet Chuba Hubbard just logged 64 yards on 10 carries vs. the Chargers.

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints
Jalen Hurts
Passing Attempts: 31.5
Week 3 is going to be an interesting test for both the Eagles and Saints. New Orleans has been immensely explosive offensively to start the season, while Philadelphia is coming off a shocking prime-time loss to Kirk Cousins.
With the Saints’ offensive clicking on all cylinders, Philadelphia may need to lean on the passing game more than usual. Saquon Barkley should still get his, but that’s also the part of the game New Orleans will try to take from the Eagles.
Hurts logged 30 passing attempts in the opener, then 31 in Week 2’s Monday matchup. So, he hasn’t hit the number needed for MORE to come through in this one but, he’s knocking on the door while entering a setting that should present more reason for Philly to pass.
