Picks for tonight’s NFL game: DraftKings Sportsbook trends for Patriots vs. Jets

DraftKings Sportsbook bettors have been casting their picks for tonight’s NFL game between the Patriots and Jets. Below, youโ€™ll find trends and additional information associated with the bets being made on DraftKings Sportsbook for this game.

Game splits

Moneyline

The Jets (-278) are the popular moneyline play, yet it seems that the handle/bets splits are in New Englandโ€™s favor.

The Patriots (+225) have only seen 26% of the bets. However, 33% of the moneyline handle has gone toward New England.

Spread

These splits are the inverse of the moneyline. The Patriots have been the popular play, with 55% of the spread bets going their way. However, those bets have only made up for 42% of the handle.

Yet, while New York seems to be the sharp play (58% of handle and 45% of bets), the line has dipped from 7.5 to 6 points. That shift makes it easier on the Jets to cover, not the Patriots.

Total

This game total opened at 42 points and has since dipped down to 38.5. Looking at the splits, that adds up.

Thereโ€™s been a 50-50 split when it comes to the percentage of bets on this gameโ€™s total. However, 55% of the handle has gone toward the under hitting.

It shouldnโ€™t come as a surprise to hear Breece Hall is the most popular player when it comes to the touchdown-related picks for tonight’s NFL game. He has the most-bet prop in the following markets (odds for each play included):

  • First TD Scorer (+320)
  • Anytime TD Scorer (-145)
  • 2+ TD Scorer (+370)

Oddly enough, Hall is also the most popular bet under the Player Not to Score a Touchdown option with +110 odds.

In the First TD Scorer market, 24% of the bets and 20% of the handle has gone toward Hall. Right behind him in the handle department, 19% of the handle has gone toward Garrett Wilson (+600) being the gameโ€™s First TD Scorer. Rhamondre Stevenson (+650) has seen a higher percentage of bets (18%) than Wilson (16%), but the bets on the New England running back only make up for 16% of the marketโ€™s handle.

However, Stevenson does have the most popular non-touchdown player prop among available picks for tonight’s NFL game. The over (-105) on Stevensonโ€™s rushing attempts over/under (16.5) has received more bets than any other non-touchdown player prop available for Patriots-Jets.

System in play

With the Patriots being a 6-point underdog, they fit into an interesting system.

Underdogs of 6-plus points are 7-0-1 against the spread so far this season (4-4 straight up).
