NFL Pick ‘Em Pools
These pools are really easy to use and allow you to have action for the entire NFL season with just one entry fee. Every week you will go back to the pool and pick five games on the slate against the spread. Each correct selection is worth 1 point and each incorrect selection is worth 0 points.
You will also be given one “skip week” during the season where you don’t need to make picks if you don’t have picks you like for that week. In total, you will make 70 selections throughout the NFL regular season if you join one of the 3rd chance pools.
Every week of the regular season I will be giving out my five favorite selections, along with my leans for every other game on the slate.
Week 3 Picks
Picks Record: 5-5
Titans -2.5 vs. Packers- The Packers played well in their first game without Jordan Love. However, the Colts’ defense has a lot of issues, whereas the Titans’ defense has played really well so far this season. There is now tape on how the Packers will look with Malik Willis at QB and the Titans’ defense should give him a hard time. Without major mistakes by Will Levis, the Titans could easily be 2-0. This should be the game where they break through and get a win.
Panthers +5.5 vs. Raiders- The Panthers have been a disaster so far this season but they are making a quarterback change this week. Bryce Young has been by far the worst quarterback in the NFL this season and a veteran like Andy Dalton should be a significant upgrade. Dalton should be able to do the basics and just get the ball in the hands of some of the Panthers’ playmakers. The Raiders are also coming off of an upset win over the Ravens and could be due for a bit of a letdown spot here.
Dolphins +4.5 vs. Seahawks- I am keeping the backup quarterback trend going with the Dolphins. The Dolphins have an easy offense for a backup QB to run because of the array of star skill-position players available. Skylar Thompson has a decent amount of experience in this system and should be able to move the ball effectively. The Seahawks have had a good start to the season but they have some defensive frailties that could be exposed by the Dolphins’ weapons.
Rams +7.5 vs. 49ers- This is a divisional rivalry game that is often played really close. The Rams are down their top two wide receivers but Matt Stafford and Sean McVay should be able to make it work. The 49ers are also without Deebo Samuel and their offensive success numbers go way down when Samuel isn’t on the field. The Rams should be able to keep this within a touchdown.
Giants +6.5 vs. Browns- Daniel Jones has historically been great as an underdog. The Giants should have won last week if they had a healthy kicker so public perception is more down on them than it should be. Also, the Browns just picked up a big Week 2 victory, but in Week 1 the Cowboys demolished this team. The Giants have some good pass rushers and could expose some of the same flaws that the Cowboys did.
