Tuesday’s WNBA slate features five matchups with major playoff implications—providing plenty of intriguing betting opportunities on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Three matchups are set to take place to begin the action. The Washington Mystics will face off against the league-leading New York Liberty as they attempt to keep hope of attaining the final playoff spot alive. The red-hot Minnesota Lynx, winners of six straight, visit the Connecticut Sun, while the Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream face off in a pivotal game with both teams tied for the last postseason berth.

To wrap up the slate, the Las Vegas Aces, led by MVP favorite A’ja Wilson, square off against the surging Seattle Storm. Lastly, the seventh-ranked Phoenix Mercury take on the LA Sparks, who have already been eliminated from postseason contention.

Let’s look below at my top bets for Tuesday’s WNBA betting card with analysis based on recent trends and player strength.

New York Liberty vs. Washington Mystics

Mystics +8.5 (-112)

The Mystics are battling for the final playoff spot, and with a +8.5 spread (-112) on DraftKings Sportsbook against the Liberty, they’re a solid choice to cover. After beginning the season losing their first 12 games, Washington has clawed its way into a three-way tie with the Sky and Dream for the last playoff spot. This game holds significant weight, to say the least.

The Liberty, currently in first place, are closing in on the No. 1 seed but are coming off a tough 88-79 loss to the red-hot Lynx. Though Breanna Stewart put up a massive 38-point, 18-rebound performance, New York struggled to contain Minnesota’s balanced offensive attack, but remains +130 to win the WNBA championship on DraftKings Sportsbook—the best odds in the league.

The Mystics are coming off a 76-73 defeat by the Dream despite Ariel Atkins scoring 16 points. With Atkins and Brittney Sykes leading the charge, Washington will be highly motivated to keep their playoff hopes alive. Even with the loss of starting center Shakira Austin for the rest of the season, the Mystics are still bringing it.

Minnesota Lynx vs. Connecticut Sun

Lynx -1.5 (-110)

The Lynx enter Tuesday’s matchup against the Sun riding a six-game winning streak and 13 wins in their last 14 outings, providing a favorable outlook to cover a -1.5 spread (-110) on DraftKings Sportsbook. There is plenty of motivation to get a win as Minnesota’s 88-79 win over the Liberty sustained their hopes for the first seed alive, and another win against Connecticut could secure the second seed.

Napheesa Collier and Bridget Carleton have been key contributors, with Collier coming off a performance with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Carleton chipped in 19 points on five three-pointers against the Liberty. Meanwhile, the Sun, despite winning both prior matchups this season, are coming off a disappointing loss to the Aces.

Minnesota continues to rise to the occasion against top competition, which is key in their outlook being +350 to win the WNBA title, per DraftKings Sportsbook. Collier erupted for a season-high-tying 31 points in their previous matchup against the Sun, providing to be an overtime thriller that narrowly slipped away. Connecticut’s offensive inconsistencies could give the Lynx an advantage in this head-to-head encounter.

Chicago Sky vs. Atlanta Dream

Sky +5 (-105)

With the last final playoff spot on the line, the Sky and Dream will enter a crucial matchup, with Chicago as +5 underdogs (-105) on DraftKings Sportsbook. Both teams, along with the Mystics, are tied with identical 13-25 records, making this game a pivotal moment in their playoff race. Considering the Sky hold the season-series edge, having won two of their three matchups against the Dream, they present a strong case to cover the spread.

Although Chicago has struggled recently with 10 losses in their last 12 games, they’ve shown resilience. Despite a narrow 93-88 loss to the Mercury in their previous outing, the Sky fought hard, with Chennedy Carter leading the team with 20 points. Even without standout rookie Angel Reese, who is sidelined with a season-ending wrist injury, Chicago has continued to compete, and Carter’s 17.5 points per game keep the team in contention.

The main obstacle Chicago faces is Kamilla Cardoso continuing to deal with a shoulder injury, which has repeatedly landed her as questionable on the injury report. She continues to face an uncertain status entering Tuesday’s game.

The Dream are coming off an overtime win against the Mystics, fueled by Tina Charles’ 20-point, 10-rebound performance. However, with three of their last five games going to overtime, fatigue could become a factor for Atlanta to consider.

Las Vegas Aces vs. Seattle Storm

Storm +5.5 (-115)

The Storm enter this matchup against the Aces on a four-game winning streak, making them a strong pick to cover the +5.5 spread (-115) on DraftKings Sportsbook. Seattle will likely need to get off to a better start than they have lately after pulling off significant comebacks. They recently overcame a 21-point deficit against the Dallas Wings.

Jewell Loyd has averaged 19.7 points this season, but is coming off a pair of inefficient performances under her season average. Regardless, she has help with Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar-Diggins Smith in the Storm’s supporting cast. Ogwumike is coming off a 23-point performance against the Sparks, while Diggins-Smith added 19. In their most recent win against the Sparks, the Storm built a 16-point lead, showing they can start fast and put pressure on opponents. The main pitfall against the Aces could be the disparity in perimeter shooting firepower.

A’ja Wilson last produced a dominant 29-point, nine-rebound performance against the Indiana Fever, resulting in the Aces’ seventh victory in eight games. This team is clicking at the right time after inconsistency coming out of the Olympic break. This surge has improved their WNBA title odds to +270 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Regardless, Seattle could at least keep it close enough to cover.

Phoenix Mercury vs. LA Sparks

Sparks +3.5 (-110)

With the season near its end for the Sparks, already eliminated from postseason contention, they will look to close out on a positive note against the Mercury. Despite holding the WNBA’s worst record at 7-31, the Sparks have a favorable outlook to cover the +3.5 spread (-110) on DraftKings Sportsbook against the Mercury.

Phoenix is coming off a 93-88 win over the Sky, with Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi leading the charge by combining for 51 points. Regardless, the team has little room to move up in the standings with just two games left.

On the other hand, the Sparks, although out of playoff contention, have shown some fight despite being hammered by injuries. Dearica Hamby has been a bright spot for Los Angeles, averaging 17.1 points per game and leading the way with 25 points and 11 rebounds in their recent three-point loss against the Storm. While the Sparks have struggled, they’ve kept games competitive.
