Two Texan newcomers didn’t waste any time settling in as Stefon Diggs caught two touchdown passes while Joe Mixon saw 30 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, the Bears erased a 17-point second-quarter deficit to defeat the Titans 24-17 at Soldier Field. While Caleb Williams was lacklustre leading the offense in his NFL debut, the defense and special teams’ units made timely plays to ultimately get the win. A blocked punt touchdown in the third quarter started the comeback, while Tyrique Stevenson’s interception for a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter gave Chicago its first lead. The Bears will now be looking to improve an underwhelming 2-11 record from their last 13 road games.
