NFL bettors seem bullish on the Texans’ Super Bowl chances following the first week of NFL action.
Since the season began with Chiefs–Ravens on Thursday Night Football, the Texans have taken the greatest percentage of handle on DraftKings Sportsbook to win the Super Bowl. As of writing, Houston is +1300 to win it all this season.
But despite more money being thrown at the Texans than any other team to win it all, that does not mean they’ve received the most bets. The Chiefs — who have received the second-most handle — have seen the greatest percentage of bets to win the Super Bowl. The Lions are second in terms of percentage of bets and third in terms of percentage of handle.
Then the Jets — the only team among this grouping to not win in Week 1 — currently have the third-highest percentage of bets to win the Super Bowl.
Conference Winners
Despite the Texans receiving the most handle to win the Super Bowl, they are not among the top three teams in terms of percentage of handle on DraftKings Sportsbook for the category of AFC Winner. The Jets lead that group, followed by the Chiefs and Bengals.
However, Kansas City has received the greatest percentage of bets to win the AFC, followed by the Jets and Ravens.
As for the NFC, the greatest percentage of both bets and handle on DraftKings Sportsbook has gone the Lions’ way for NFC Winner. The Eagles have received the second-highest percentage of handle and the third-highest percentage of bets to win the NFC, while the Packers have been Philadelphia’s inverse.
Awards Futures
MVP
It should come as no surprise to see Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson receive the greatest percentage of bets and handle on DraftKings Sportsbook for MVP.
Jackson is third in both percentage of bets and handle. The highest percentage of handle has gone Mahomes’ way, while Allen has received the greatest percentage of bets.
OPOY
Saquon Barkley leads this awards category in terms of both percentage of bets and handle on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Tyreek Hill is the only other player featured on both sides of this Offensive Player of the Year conversation. Since the season began, he has the second-highest percentage of bets, and the third-most handle has been cast toward him receiving the honor.
Cooper Kupp has gotten the second-highest percentage of handle on DraftKings Sportsbook to win OPOY. CeeDee Lamb has seen the third-greatest percentage of bets.
DPOY
Just like Barkley, T.J. Watt has seen the greatest percentage of bets and handle on DraftKings Sportsbook to receive the Defensive Player of the Year award.
Aidan Hutchinson has seen the second-most handle, but the third-highest percentage of bets. Micah Parsons has been the inverse of Hutchinson.
OROY and DROY
Jayden Daniels has seen the highest percentage of bets and handle on DraftKings Sportsbook to win Offensive Player of the Year. Four other names trail him in the mix. (See more in image below.)
Since the season began, the highest percentage of handle on DraftKings Sportsbook has been cast at Jared Verse to Defensive Player of the Year. But, the greatest percentage of bets have gone in Dallas Turner’s favor.
