There’s been plenty of offense in this series between the Yankees and Rangers. New York took the opener, 8-4. Texas tied things up on Tuesday with a 7-4 victory. In the rubber match, the Rangers pounded out 10 runs on 14 hits for the win on Wednesday.

It was smooth sailing for the Rangers, as they jumped out to a 10-2 lead after seven innings.

Nathan Eovaldi ($9,300; 23.55 FPTS) struck out six in seven innings while walking three and allowing two earned runs on four hits.

The lone blemish came in the fifth inning when Juan Soto ($6,500; 26 FPTS) took him deep for a two-run shot. Soto was perfect on the night, going 3-for-3 with that home run, a double and a walk.

The Rangers did not go yard once in this one. Instead, they chose the death by a thousand paper cuts method. Four Rangers had multi-hit games with Wyatt Langford ($3,800; 23 FPTS), Nathaniel Lowe ($3,600; 13 FPTS) and Ezequiel Duran ($2,300; 21 FPTS) all notching three hits. Langford had two RBI, three runs, a double and a walk while Duran had two RBI, two runs and two doubles.

Yankees starter, Marcus Stroman ($6,600 -1.75 FPTS) lasted only 3.2 innings. He struck out three, walked one and allowed five earned runs on nine hits.

Aaron Boone waved the white flag and took out Soto and Aaron Judge ($6,900; 2 FPTS) after three plate appearances, but Trent Grisham ($2,800; 20 FPTS) made things a little interesting with a grand slam in the top of the ninth.
