Kyle Schwarber ($5,600; 58 FPTS) had one of the greatest games at the plate in Phillies history. The 31-year-old wracked up five hits, including a trio of homers. His eighth-inning three-run blast to right was ultimately the difference in the contest. It’s one of the performances of the season, and it almost single-handedly positions Philly as a game behind the Dodgers for the best record in the NL.
Trea Turner ($5,900; 18 FPTS) also had a productive outing, notching three hits and swiping a bag.
The Blue Jays have had an underwhelming campaign but have consistently gotten elite production from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ($5,600; 29 FPTS). Toronto’s superstar logged four hits and crushed his 29th homer of the year.
The Phillies go for the two-game series sweep tomorrow afternoon, and open as -125 favorites.
