The Oakland Athletics are not a good baseball team, as they currently sit fourth in the AL West with a 60-78 record. They are 25th in runs scored and 24th in batting average. But what they can do is send pitches into the outfield seats, as the 177 home runs rank fifth in MLB.

The Seattle Mariners are 16th in home runs, but they used the long ball to open the scoring on Monday with a two-run shot by Cal Raleigh ($4,400; 16 FPTS) in the first inning. They scored another run in the third inning on a sacrifice fly, but all that did was awaken the slumbering giant that is the Oakland Athletics.

Brent Rooker ($5,600; 9 FPTS) started the comeback in the third inning with an RBI double. Later in the inning, Shea Langeliers ($4,500; 32 FPTS) sent the second pitch he saw into the left field seats for a three-run home run.

Justin Turner ($3,100; 7 FPTS) tied it back up in the sixth inning with an RBI single.

In the bottom of the ninth, on a 3-2 count, Langeliers sent another ball into the left field seats with a solo shot to walk it off. Langeliers now has 25 home runs on the season. Only Raleigh has more at the catcher position with 28.

In the $150K Relay Throw tournament, Raleigh was rostered on 16% of teams while Langeliers was on 8.4%.
