The 22-year-old was a revelation, completing 75% of his passes while tossing for 378 yards and a touchdown. Moss got the ball with under two minutes left in regulation and orchestrated a clinical eight-play drive to win the game for his squad.
Moss flexed an impressive internal clock while navigating consistently muddled pockets. His accuracy was mesmerizing, as he routinely drove balls in microscopic windows. He made the remarkable look elementary. The redshirt junior has changed the narrative around his school entirely on its head in one magical night.
USC WR Kyron Hudson ($3,200; 13.3 FPTS) introduced himself to the country with a monster outing. The Junior made a pair of spectacular catches, including a one-hand stab in the first half that would’ve even made former Tiger Odell Beckham Jr. blush.
Despite the crushing defeat, Brian Kelly should feel good about his signal caller. Garrett Nussmeier ($11,800; 22.16 FPTS) had a solid outing, throwing for 304 yards and two touchdowns. He flashed multiple arm angles and was willing to take what the defense gave him. He wasn’t as explosive as Jayden Daniels, but who is?
USC sits at +1800 to win the Big Ten and +6,000 to win the National Title.
