With only 13 days before their Week 1 matchup in Cleveland, the Cowboys addressed the standoff with superstar wideout CeeDee Lamb. According to mutiple reports, Lamb has agreed to a massive four-year extension worth $136 million, including $100 million in guaranteed. His $38 million signing bonus is the largest ever given to a wide receiver and the deal makes him the second-highest paid receiver in the league behind only Justin Jefferson of the Vikings.
Lamb had been away from the team since OTAs while trying to work out his situation, but he should be ready to roll for Week 1 after getting the bag on Monday.
Lamb was the first-round pick of the Cowboys in 2020 and has played every game for the team since then. He has increased his receptions and yardage totals each season, with a career-high 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 14 total touchdowns last year.
Lamb’s new deal establishes him as one of the top receivers in the league and negates any fantasy concerns about his holdout impacting his availability for the start of the regular season. Right now, in DraftKings Best Ball, Lamb has an ADP of 3.5 going as the third player overall behind just Christian McCaffrey and Tyreek Hill.
In Week 1, his Cowboys are +2.5 point underdogs to the Browns with the over/under set at 43. He is +170 as an anytime scorer and +100 as the first touchdown scorer in that matchup.
Lamb also has the highest salary of any WR in DFS contests for Week 1, including the $4M Fantasy Football Millionaire [$1M to 1st]. He’s $8,900 despite a tough matchup against a Browns’ secondary that allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to WR last season.

He is +115 to go over 1350.5 receiving yards on the season and +115 to haul in over 9.5 receiving touchdowns. As a team, the Cowboys’ win total over/under is 9.5 with the over at -145. Dallas is +170 to win the NFC East and +1900 to win the Super Bowl. While there are 10 teams with shorter odds to win it all this year, the Cowboys took a huge step to being at their best by getting Lamb locked in and ready to go for another great season.
