College football is finally here! It begins with Week 0 this Saturday and the marquee matchup features the No. 10 Florida State Seminoles vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. ESPN’s College Gameday will be in town covering all the action leading up to kickoff at noon ET on August 24.
College Gameday will return with their host Rece Davis along with analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Steve Coughlin, Desmond Howard, and Pat McAfee. Nick Saban, seven-time national champion and future football Hall-of-Famer, is joining the program as a weekly analyst for the first time. Reporters Pete Thamel, Jen Lada and Jess Simons will also join the show.
Gameday Location
The premiere show from the Worldwide Leader will take place in Dublin, Ireland at College Green. The show will air live from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET and 2-5 p.m. IST. Fans will be able to enter College Green and get their spot for the show starting at 6:30 a.m. ET. The game will take place at Aviva Stadium, which was the host to last season’s game between Notre Dame and Navy, which saw 49,000 fans in attendance. This is the ninth time that a college football game will take place in Ireland.
FSU head coach Mike Norvell recently joined Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr. on GoJo and Golic and shared his belief that his team is ready for the trip to Dublin.
How to watch
You can watch College Gameday on ESPN and ESPNU streaming live from 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. ET and 2-5 p.m. IST. The Game starts at noon ET directly after Gameday ends. The game between Florida State and Georgia Tech will also be aired on ESPN.

WWE broadcaster Pat McAfee, who also appears weekly on College Gameday announced on the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, that the Celtic Warrior Sheamus will join the broadcast live from his hometown of Dublin, Ireland this Saturday. Sheamus is a former WWE champion and a future Hall of Famer.
The Seminoles are currently -11 point favorites while the game has an over-under of 55.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Florida State has the 11th best odds to win the National Championship this season at +2800 while being +140 to make the first 12-team college football playoff on DraftKings Sports.
Florida State is 15-11-1 vs. Georgia Tech in their all-time head-to head matchups. The Seminoles won the last matchup by a score of 41-16 in 2022 at home. But Georgia Tech beat Florida State two straight times in 2015 and 2020. FSU is 6-4 in their previous 10 matchup’s dating back to 2001.
