Baseball is technically a team sport, but it actually is comprised of multiple one-on-one battles with quests on the side. It is essentially pitcher vs. batter with some base running, fielding and catching on the periphery.
That dynamic was evident during Monday’s game between the Pirates and the Rangers, as one player on each side delivered all the runs for their respective teams.
Jared Triolo ($2,600; 20 FPTS) walked and hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning.
Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, Corey Seager ($5,500; 34 FPTS) was a teenie bit better. He also walked and hit a three-run home run….
….but Seager also hit a solo shot in the first inning to finish the night with four RBI, one better than the Pittsburgh Triolos.
