Freeman did not play Sunday and was going to miss a few games, but he’s back in the lineup for Monday. Manager Dave Roberts said that Freeman has a hairline fracture in his right middle finger.

These are contentious times for the Dodgers, as they are only three games up on the San Diego Padres with the Arizona Diamondbacks four games back.

In 507 plate appearances this season, Freeman is slashing .292/.391/.488 with a 12.4% walk rate, 15.2% strikeout rate and .196 ISO. He has 17 home runs, 69 runs, 72 RBI and six stolen bases.
