NASCAR is back and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2-6 drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Here is some advice to help build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan.
Bubba Wallace: Fantasy Points – 33.5

Qualifying was rained out. Wallace starts fifth because of his Richmond finish. The teams were able to make sporadic runs in practice. The No. 23 Toyota appears to have speed. The 23XI Toyotas have been fast all summer. Wallace’s five fastest laps were 191.8, 191.6, 190.8, 190.7 and 190.6 MPH for an average of 191.1 MPH (sixth). Michigan favors man over machine. Wallace has the machine. He starts up front. He should be able to stay up front. Running up front at Michigan results in fast laps. Those points will pad Wallace’s NASCAR fantasy score. As long as Bubba doesn’t wreck or make a critical pit road mistake, Wallace should go over his DraftKings Pick6 projection.
Joey Logano: Fantasy Points – 41.5

Don’t overreact to practice. Logano ran two laps before practice was interrupted. He went back out on heat-cycled tires and was unable to lay down a flashy lap. A handful of practice laps do not mean much. Logano and Team Penske’s recent performances matter more. Ford’s nine consecutive wins at Michigan matter. Logano needs a top-10 finish and a couple of fast laps and he will easily surpasses 41.5 fantasy points. Excluding the Chicago Street Race, Logano has a top-10 driver rating in each of the last six races. Similar to Wallace, it appears that only a wreck will prevent Logano from exceeding 41.5 fantasy points.

Create a Pick Set
Create a Pick Set by choosing between 2-6 players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
