Weston Wilson hits for the cycle in 13-3 rout over Nationals

The lights were bright at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday night, but not brighter than Weston Wilson ($3,500; 34 FPTS) who hit for the cycle in the Phillies’ dominant victory over the Nationals. The Phillies scored 13 runs, fueled by Alec Bohm ($4,900; 20 FPTS) and Nick Castellanos ($4,000; 19 FPTS), who each hit a homer. This was obviously unfortunate news for Nationals SP Mitchell Parker ($6,000, -6.45 FPTS), whose fantasy performance dipped into the negatives in just three innings pitched.

Phillies SP Zack Wheeler ($9,600; 25.10 FPTS) also had an impressive night with six strikeouts, one earned run, and zero walks. Wheeler lowered his season ERA to 2.72 with the strong performance.

It wasn’t all terrible news for the Nationals. Keibert Ruiz ($3,200; 28 FPTS) was arguably their only silver lining, hitting two homers along with scoring two runs and recording two RBI. Congratulations if you were one of the 7.3% of DraftKings fantasy owners who rostered him in the MLB $100K Relay Throw; talk about return on investment.
