The Chicago White Sox are 28-91 on the season, by far the most inept team in MLB. The Yankees are tied atop the AL East with 70 wins, so of course the White Sox dominated the Yankees, 12-2, on Monday.
Five White Sox players had multi-hit games.
Andrew Benintendi ($2,300; FPTS) went 2-for-5 with a RBI, two runs scored and a double. Korey Lee ($2,300; 21 FPTS) also had two hits, but one of those was a big fly into the left field seats. Dominic Fletcher ($2,000; 17 FPTS) had three hits with a double, a RBI and two runs scored.
Andrew Vaughn ($4,200; 18 FPTS) went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored, but the night belonged to Gavin Sheets ($2,600; 23 FPTS), who had three hits, all doubles, and drove in three runs.
The ninth-batter, Brooks Baldwin ($2,200; 18 FPTS) hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning.
In the $250K Knuckleball tournament, Benintendi was the highest-rostered White Sox at 6.1%. Lee was on 2.2% of teams, Fletcher on 0.5%, Vaughn on 2%, Sheets was on 2.6% and Baldwin was rostered on 1.8% of teams.
Yankees starter, Luis Gil ($9,000; 1.6 FPTS) was the highest-rostered player on the slate at 46%, and he allowed four earned run on seven hits in four innings. Gil also walked two and struck out three.
