Mookie Betts last played on June 16th, so he’s missed the last 42 games for the Dodgers. Over that span, the Dodgers have slashed .246/.328/.421 with a .175 ISO, while notching a 22-20 record. With Betts, the team slashed .255/.334/.436 with a .181 ISO while going 44-29. Individually, Betts slashed .304/.405/.488 with a .184 ISO. The walk rate was 14.2% while the strikeout rate was only 10.3%. He hit 10 home runs and stole nine bases in 331 plate appearances.

The Dodgers got excellent news on Friday, as Dave Roberts said that Betts will return on Monday in Milwaukee.

The return of Betts should be a huge addition to an already potent lineup, but there will be some changes. After playing 2B and SS all season, Betts will start in right field. In addition, Shohei Ohtani has been batting leadoff and will remain in that position, with Betts batting right behind him.

On DK Sportsbook, the Dodgers are the favorities to win the World Series at +380. The New York Yankees are at +500, while the Philadelphia Phillies are +550.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
