The NBA is returning to NBC beginning in the 2025-26 season and that means one thing — the return of Roundball Rock!
Yes, the staple of 1990s childhoods, playing underneath highlights of Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal will be returning to our television screens ahead of NBA games and John Tesh previously told The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz that he was working on a new version of the iconic theme. Well, on Thursday he chose Dan’s show to share with the world the NEW, SHREDDED(!) version of Roundball Rock!
And it didn’t take long for the reviews to come rolling in from the Shipping Container.

“Oh my God, my eyebrows are smoking!”
If you’re not ready to go dunk a basketball through the floor after listening to that, are you even alive? This song is a certified BANGER! Nostalgia or no, we can’t wait to hear this during NBA coverage on NBC. Ba-ba-ba-basketball, gimme, gimme the ball because I’m going to dunk it, indeed!
