Puka Nacua (knee) expected to be ready for Week 1

Nacua injured his knee in practice this past Sunday, but the receiver is expected to ready for Week 1 vs. the Lions, per Sean McVay. Nacua had an incredible rookie season a year ago, catching 105 balls for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns. Despite spending most of the season playing alongside Cooper Kupp, Nacua led the Rams with a 28.7% target share, which finished 10th among receivers. Additionally, the 23-year-old ranked 14th in DraftKings points per snap (0.32) at his position.

Barring any setbacks or limitations for Week 1, Nacua will be an elite target for all formats in a matchup with the Lions, which is expected to be one of the highest-scoring affairs of Week 1. On the DraftKings Sportsbook, this Rams vs. Lions matchup currently carries the highest total of Week 1 at 51 points.

From a Best Ball perspective, this injury hiccup for Nacua during training camp could result in him going slightly later in DraftKings than expected. Based on DraftKings Best Ball current ADP rankings, Nacua is being selected as the 11th-highest receiver in drafts, which feels slightly late if the budding star is a full-go to begin the season.

Also, at +100 on the DraftKings Sportsbook for over 85 receptions this coming season, Nacua has to be considered if he starts the season healthy. A year ago, the wideout caught 105 of his 160 targets, and both of those numbers finished inside the top 10 among receivers.
