Xander Schauffele and Jon Rahm are tied at -14 heading into the final round of the Men’s 2024 Olympic Golf tournament, with Tommy Fleetwood (-13) and Hideki Matsuyama (-11) still in the mix as well. Schauffele, Rahm and Fleetwood will make up the final group on Sunday. Xander shot a 68 in Saturday’s round, with only two birdies on the day. That’s because, on the par five 14th hole he recorded an eagle. He also had one bogey on the card. Rahm shot a 66 for the second day in a row, and it was a birdie fest for him as he had seven with two bogeys as well. Nicolai Højgaard (-11) fired the low round of the day with a 62 to get himself into contention.
Schauffele is the favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook heading into the final round at +150. He is trailed closely by Rahm at +200 and then Fleetwood at +550. With only one shot between the top three on the leaderboard, we are set for a thrilling finish in Paris as Xander Schauffele looks to defend his gold medal from 2020.
