You know that viral diving clip you’ve probably seen? It’s not what you think

You may have seen a viral clip on social media that features an EPIC diving fail.

It’s a clip that’s been hard to escape as the Olympics and its diving program get underway. There’s just one problem, as Pablo Torre points out on Tuesday’s edition of The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz. It’s not from Paris. Heck, it’s not from either of the last two Olympics either. It’s from 2015!

Yes, Pablo laments that his homeland of the Philippines has been suffering through being associated with this clip FOR THE LAST NINE YEARS! It was one dude nine years ago, can we please MOVE ON!?!?

Jessica agrees, saying people have to stop trying to do a fake out and make people think this just happened. Pablo says because no one knows anything about the Olympics everything is new and everything is happening right now. There are a million Olympics all happening within this one Olympics. Which he says is cool, except it’s not really from the Olympics. Consider yourself educated.

Tune into The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz Monday-Friday at 11 a.m. ET on DraftKings Network!
