Schwarber ($5,600; 32 DKFP) went 2-for-4 at the plate Sunday and both of his hits were homers. First, the slugger went yard with a solo shot in the bottom of the first and then Schwarber blasted a two-run homer in the bottom of the third. In the $222K Bat Flip, the 31-year-old was rostered by only 5.5% of the field. However, the Phillies still came up short despite Schwarber’s efforts, losing 4-3 to the Guardians, who were led by Jhonkensy Noel ($3,300; 24 DKFP).
The 23-year-old racked up three hits, including a three-run homer. Noel was a tremendous value at his low salary and he was only rostered by 7.9% of the field in the $222K Bat Flip. Steven Kwan ($5,400; 17 DKFP) also went yard and his solo homer in the top of the seventh to secure the win for the Guardians.
Cleveland now has 63 wins on the season – which ranks second in the MLB – and they have a 4.5-game lead over the Twins for the top seed in the AL Central. With that lead, Cleveland is a -165 favorite to win the division and they sport +1200 odds to win the World Series on the DraftKings Sportsbook.
