On the road, theย Colorado Rockiesย are Steve Urkel, ranking 27th in runs scored. At home, Jaleel White confidently flashes his smile, and the Rockies spike all the way up to ninth in runs scored. On Wednesday in Coors Field, there was no…
Colorado confidently pounded out 21 hits for 20 runs, tied for the most runs scored in a single game by the Rockies at home, and cruised to the 20-7 victory. For you inquiring minds, the most runs scored in a game by a single team in MLB history was 36, way back in 1897.
Every Rockies starter notched at least one hit, with catcher Jacob Stallings ($3,500; 36 FTPS) leading the way with two doubles, a home run, four RBI and three runs. Brenton Doyle ($5,000; 29 FTPS) went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, five RBI and two runs. Ezequiel Tovar ($4,400; 24 FTPS) had three hits โ one of which was a home run โ two RBI and two runs. Ryan McMahon ($4,700; 16 FTPS) had a two-run home run.
Things were humming so well for the Rockies that even Kris Bryant ($4,000; 15 FTPS) got into the act with three hits and three runs.
For Boston, Jarren Duran ($6,200; 31 FTPS) was a beacon of light on a dark day, going 3-for-5 with a home run, a triple, three RBI and two runs.
On the mound, Nick Pivetta ($8,300; -2.0 FTPS) struck out six in 2.2 innings, but allowed seven earned runs on 10 hits. His counterpart, Cal Quantrill ($6,000; 10.7 FTPS), went six innings, walked two, struck out three and only allowed two earned runs on six hits.
He scored later in the inning on this triple from Spencer Steer ($4,900; 28 FPTS), who finished with three hits all for extra bases.
Jake Fraley ($3,500; 27 FPTS) also had a big day with three hits for the Reds and De La Cruz added not only his 51st stolen base, but also smashed this solo homer to finish the victory with an impressive 34 fantasy points.
All that run support came behind Frankie Montas ($8,000; 5.95 FPTS), who wasnโt able to stay around long enough for the win.

Even after knocking off the Braves, the Reds are still +900 to make the playoffs since they sit four games behind the Cardinals for the third Wild Card spot. Elly De La Cruz is +3500 to win the NL MVP, and heโs +195 to add another stolen base in Game 2.
