The Los Angeles Dodgers wrap up their home series with the Boston Red Sox with a former Red Sox starting pitcher facing his old team on Sunday.

Boston Red Sox vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (-115, 9)

James Paxton gets the start for the Dodgers. He has had some issues with walks — allowing 4.7 walks per nine innings but has done a good job to strand men on base to maintain a 4.32 ERA and enters having allowed three runs or fewer in five of his last six starts.

Backing up Paxton is a bullpen that entered Saturday with the league’s fourth-best ERA at 3.42 while the Red Sox’s 3.67 ERA is 11th as they look to Kutter Crawford for a good start on Sunday.

Crawford has a 3.04 ERA, which drops to a 2.35 ERA on the road, but his 3.76 fielding independent points towards regression for these stats.

Crawford’s .251 opponent batting average on-ball in play is one of the lowest marks in the league and now he faces a Dodgers lineup that entered Saturday fifth among the 30 MLB teams in scoring with over 4.9 runs per game and leading the league in total on-base percentage and percentage of at-bats the result in a home run in home games.

With the matchup Crawford has been presented with the Dodgers having the edge in the bullpen, the Dodgers will wrap up the series with a win.
