Schauffele has been rolling on a hot streak this year, and finally got over the hump with a win at the PGA Championship. He has 11 top-10 finishes in 2024, including a solo 8th at the Masters and a T7 at the U.S. Open. Schauffele has proved himself against some very challenging fields this season, and won the Genesis Scottish Open back in 2022. His experience on the course and recent successes could combine in the perfect storm this week. Schauffele leads the field in total strokes gained over the last three months.

Fleetwood has come oh-so-close at the Renaissance Club for two years straight now, earning a T4 at the 2022 Genesis Scottish Open and grabbing a T6 in 2023. He is coming off of three straight top-20 finishes and has performed well against elite fields in the majors this year. Fleetwood ranks sixth in the field in total strokes gained over the last three months. He is familiar with the ins and outs of this course, and could be a contender late into Sunday.
Hideki Matsuyama +3500
Matsuyama could be a sneaky bargain here. Coming in with fairly long odds, Matsuyama actually ranks fifth overall in the field in total strokes gained over the last three months and over the last 30 days. He ranks first in the field in strokes gained: around the green. With 16 straight made cuts and five top-10 finishes on the PGA TOUR since last August, Matsuyama is poised to make a strong showing at the Genesis Scottish Open this week.
