The 2024 Genesis Scottish Open tees off from the Renaissance Club in North Berwick this week. Rory McIlroy is poised to make his return to the course after taking some time off following his second place finish at the U.S. Open. McIlroy missed several short putts that cost him the major championship as he fell to Bryson DeChambeau by just a single stroke.
In North Berwick, the Irish golfer will attempt to recapture some glory. He won the Genesis Scottish Open for the first time in 2023, defeating Robert MacIntyre by one stroke to earn his single 2023 TOUR win. McIlroy enters as the favorite this week, installed at +800 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Xander Schauffele, who won the Genesis Scottish Open in 2022, follows at +850.
Collin Morikawa enters at +1600, as is Ludvig Aberg. Tommy Fleetwood is available at +2000, with Viktor Hovland at +2200. Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, and 2023 runner-up Robert MacIntyre all join the field, as well.
