Odds to win the 2024 Tour de France

The 2024 Tour de France begins on Saturday, but with a much different routing than fans of cycling across the world are used to seeing.

Due to the Paris Olympics and Le Tour looking to make some changes, the routing of the three-week long bike race will look like nothing seen before. The traditional overseas start will see the first three stages contested in Northern Italy, with a quick jaunt over to Pinerolo in the French Alps for Stage 4.

Afterwards the final 17 stages will all be in Metropolitan France, but begin in the Alps in the Southeast corner of l’Hexagone and run counter-clockwise through the country, in reverse of the usual Northern France-Alps-Pyrenees-Paris trail., And the traditional finish on the Champs-Elysses in Paris is out for the first time in a generation as well, with the 21st and final stage an individual time trial (also known as a Race of Truth) from Monaco to Nice.

While 2020 and 2021 Tour de France winner Tadej Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates has lost the last two Tour de France’s to his biggest rival Jonas Vingegaard of Team Visma, the 25-year-old Pogacar dominated the field in the 2024 Giro d’Italia to win his third pink jersey in May by nearly 10 minutes.

It’s why he’s the heavy favorite to get back on top of the podium on July 21st, and take home his third career maillot jaune.

Here are the latest odds to win the 2024 Tour de France from DraftKings Sportsbook, which begins Saturday June 29.
