1. Max Verstappen ($15,400) — The wins are not as dominant but still wins. There’s a tinge of doubt in each race but just a tinge. There won’t be a tinge this week — not in Red Bull’s backyard.
2. Lando Norris ($12,000) — The gap has closed, but there is still a gap. There is also a gap between second and third. Norris can’t close on Verstappen at traditional tracks, but he has separated himself from the rest of the field.
3. Lewis Hamilton ($8,600) — Is he back? Could Hamilton win in 2024? The upgrades Mercedes brought to Canada a month ago have been a smashing success. The Silver Arrows may not be a threat to Red Bull but they’re ready to fight McLaren.
4. Charles Leclerc ($10,000) — Ferrari failed to earn a podium in the Spanish Grand Prix. Has Mercedes leapfrogged over Ferrari? The Spanish Grand Prix was fine. Canada was a disaster. Weeks before that, Leclerc won his home race in Monaco. A lot changes from round to round.
5. George Russell ($9,600) — There are more twists and turns during a Formula 1 season than at the most technical track. Mercedes weren’t in the picture a month ago. Now, they’re on the podium. Russell finished third in Canada and fourth in the Spanish Grand Prix.

6. Carlos Sainz ($8,800) — The Spaniard just missed out on earning his eighth top-5 finish in his ninth race of the season. It’s disappointing, but it was a great bounce-back for Ferrari after a disastrous Canadian Grand Prix.
7. Oscar Piastri ($9,200) — It never gets easy. McLaren has a fight on their hands. Lando Norris is holding up his side, but Piastri is struggling to beat Mercedes and Ferrari.
8. Pierre Gasly ($5,000) — Alpine is done with Esteban Ocon ($4,400). The relationship and results have been fine since the meltdown in Monaco, but that won’t last long. Either way, Gasly has outperformed his lame-duck teammate in the last two races as expected.
9. Guanyu Zhou ($3,200) — A Kick Sauber driver was an optimal DraftKings DFS F1 pick for the seventh Grand Prix in a row last week. The Spanish Grand Prix was the eighth time in 10 races and Zhou’s fifth.
10. Alex Albon ($3,800) — This is one of the cheapest constructors on Sunday’s DFS F1 slate. One driver will win the head-to-head bonus along with the classification boost. That’s nearly 2x and the Williams’ option opens up salary for drivers from top-tier teams. Logan Sargeant ($3,000) has the worst average finish on the circuit (17.1).
