Everyone will be eyeing Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal side in Group F at Euro 2024 but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other squads in the group looking to advance to the knockout stage. The Czech Republic, Turkey and Georgia will all be looking to make their own mark at the European Championship and even if they are fighting for second and third place in the group, every result will matter.

Turkey 3, Georgia 1
Turkey took an early lead in this game, only for Georgia’s Georges Mikautadze to level things up going in to halftime. Arda Guler broke the deadlock with a goal in the 65th minute for the favorites Turkey, who added another crucial score in stoppage time to grab a 3-1 win to open their Euro 2024 campaign.
Portugal 2, Czech Republic 1
The underdogs got the first goal against the run of play on a brilliant shot from Lukas Provod, but Portugal quickly countered back on what was officially deemed an own goal after an unfortunate deflection off a save. Diogo Jota appeared to have the winner but the play was ruled offside, although Portugal did eventually pull ahead in stoppage time thanks to Francisco Conciecao.
Georgia 1, Czech Republic 1
A late penalty in the first half actually gave Georgia the 1-0 lead in this contest, despite Czech Republic dominating possession and shot opportunities. The favorites ultimately did get on the board thanks to Patrik Schick but were unable to find the winning goal late. Czech Republic now has work to do in the final match, and Georgia has put itself in position to potentially qualify as well with this point.
Portugal 3, Turkey 0
After looking shaky for much of the opener against Czech Republic, Portugal wasted no time asserting its dominance over Turkey and has secured a spot in the knockout round thanks to a big win. Turkey, Czech Republic and Georgia are now battling for the second spot in the group but the Turks still have the edge thanks to their win over Georgia in the first group match.
Georgia 2, Portugal 0
Portugal did play a relatively strong squad but Georgia pulled off a stunner here to set up a chance to make the knockout round. Georgia should have enough points in a tiebreaker, but could even get in as an automatic qualifier depending on what happens in the Turkey-Czech Republic game.
Turkey 2, Czech Republic 1
Despite going down to 10 men in the first half, Czech Republic were able to respond to Turkey’s opening goal to maintain a 1-1 tie for a while. However, Cenk Tosun found the back of the net in stoppage time to give Turkey an automatic spot in the knockout stage.
