The 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic tees off this week from the Detroit Golf Club. The tournament will run from Thursday, June 27 through Sunday, June 30 with a cut after 36 holes on Friday. Tom Kim enters as the favorite to win after falling just short at last week’s Travelers Championship.

Tom Kim +1200
Kim is the favorite this week after he fell to Scottie Scheffler in a playoff last week. The young up-and-comer has made 10 straight cuts and earned a T4 at the RBC Canadian Open in early June. He also had a solo 7th place finish in the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic, and ranks fifth in the field in total strokes gained over the last three months. Can he reach the top of the leaderboard two weeks in a row?
Akshay Bhatia +2200
The 22-year-old Bhatia put together a strong performance at last week’s Travelers Championship with a T5 finish, his best since winning the Valero Texas Open in April. Bhatia has certainly seen his ups and downs this year, going on several streaks where he failed to make a cut for weeks at a time, but he leads the Rocket Mortgage field in total strokes gained over the last three months. If Bhatia can take last week’s momentum into Detroit this week, he stands a good chance of ending up on top.
Alex Noren +2800
Noren excels at the Rocket Mortgage year in and year out, and has set himself up for success as he heads into this week. Noren finished T4 in 2021 and T9 in 2022 at the Detroit Golf Club, and is poised to make the leap into a first-place finish. He ranks first in the field in total strokes gained over the last six months, and second over the last three months. He has consistently been earning top-25 finishes on tour this season, and with a less challenging field to face this week, I like Noren to take it all the way.
