The Baltimore Ravens reached the AFC Championship Game last season before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs, coming up just short of a Super Bowl appearance with a disappointing end to a season that saw them finish with the best regular season record in the NFL. However, plenty of key offensive starters from the 2023 team will return to the team in 2024, and the Ravens strengthened their rushing attack by signing Derrick Henry after losing Gus Edwards and JK Dobbins. They used their first draft pick to select cornerback Nate Wiggins out of Clemson.

While the Ravens kicked off their draft with a defensive selection, they grabbed tackle Roger Rosengarten out of Washington in the second round, and wide receiver Devontez Walker out of North Carolina in the fourth. Walker will be playing behind Zay Flowers and other more veteran receivers but has the potential to break out as the season progresses. He finished the 2023 season with 699 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as a Tar Heel.

The Rosengarten selection could impact the abilities of Lamar Jackson and the Ravens’ running backs to break out of the backfield in the upcoming season. However, the addition of Walker to the wide receiver room could end up affecting Nelson Agholor and other receivers’ fantasy potential for the 2024 season, depending on how the Ravens choose to utilize the rookie throughout the year. He could end up earning a larger share of targets than currently projected.
