Chiefs’ projected depth chart following 2024 NFL Draft

The Kansas City Chiefs are on top of the football world for the second year in a row. They have won back-to-back Super Bowls and are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls. One of the biggest criticisms of the Chiefs in the last few seasons has been the lack of competent wide receivers surrounding Mahomes. With Rashee Rice — who admittedly is dealing with off-the-field issues — Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy in tow, it’s easy to see why they are favorites once again.

Here’s a look at the projected offensive depth chart for the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs following the 2024 NFL Draft.

Biggest offensive NFL Draft additions

The Buffalo Bills have watched Kansas City win back-to-back Super Bowls and decided to let them trade up in the first round. With the choice, the Chiefs took Worthy, who set the all-time 40-yard dash record at this year’s NFL Combine. With the issues that Rice is facing off the field, there is a chance that he gets some form of suspension and Worthy moves up the depth chart early in the season.

Player most impacted by NFL Draft for fantasy football

Brown is probably the most impacted player. He is known for his speed and figured to be the deep threat option, but Worthy should edge him out. It could depend on the potential Rice suspension as well as which receiver can get on the same page with Mahomes early, but Brown’s value definitely drops with the addition of Worthy whereas it would’ve risen if Kansas City had just taken an offensive tackle in the first round.
