Behind Taillon is a Cubs bullpen that entered Wednesday 24th in the league with a 4.43 ERA while the Brewers entered Wednesday ninth in the league in bullpen ERA and figure to be on speed dial with Colin Rea getting the pitching start.
Rea enters having allowed at least three earned runs in three of his last four starts, posting a 3.98 ERA and a 4.60 fielding independent with 6.1 strikeouts and 3.3 walks per nine innings.
With Taillon being a right-handed pitcher and the Brewers ranking second in the National League in home runs against right-handers with a .261 batting average against righties also ranking second in the National League, there will be a ton of offense brewing in Milwaukee on Thursday.
