The Western Conference Finals continue Thursday night!
The Timberwolves staved off elimination in Dallas on Tuesday thanks to strong efforts from Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns. Now, they’ll look to keep the momentum rolling in hopes of pulling off the first 3-0 playoff comeback in NBA history.
In this article, I’m going to break down my favorite NBA player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 5 of Timberwolves-Mavericks. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Naz Reid Over 10.5 Points (-120)

It’s time to buy low after Reid’s worst performance of the Western Conference Finals.
The Sixth Man of the Year only played 20 minutes in Minnesota’s win Tuesday night, racking up six points on as many field goal attempts. He was also uncharacteristically quiet from beyond the arc, missing his only long range shot.
All of that said, I’m expecting that performance to be an outlier in this series, not the new normal. Prior to that outing, Reid had racked up at least 14 points in all three games. Over those contests he shot a ridiculous 11-20 from distance. The big man’s usage rate hasn’t been incredible as of late, but it doesn’t have to be when you’re that efficient.
Finding success against Dallas isn’t a new thing for Naz, either. In four regular-season meetings with Luka Doncic and company this year, he hit this over three times.
I’m predicting a large Minnesota victory tonight, and if that’s the case they’ll need to win the bench battle by a substantial margin. Reid should see a larger workload than last game and bounce back nicely.
