The NBA Finals are set with the Boston Celtics taking on the Dallas Mavericks for the 2023-24 championship. The Celtics were the No. 1 seed in the East and marched through the conference without much trouble, flexing their muscles after being the best team in the regular season by a decent margin. The Mavericks were the lower seed in every series they played but managed to dominate their opponents thanks to play of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. The Mavericks got rid of some demons against the Clippers in the first round, then took out rising Thunder and Timberwolves squads to reach this series. Boston won both meetings between these sides during the regular season.
