The Minnesota Timberwolves head back home for Game 5 of the 2024 Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks hoping to build off their close win in Game 4 and extend the series further. The Timberwolves fell into a 3-0 hole but could put tremendous pressure back on Dallas with a win in Game 5 on their home floor.

Here’s a look at some of our favorite Timberwolves player prop bets to target for Game 5 Thursday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Karl-Anthony Towns under 20.5 points (-120)

There are going to be lot of skeptics surrounding Towns, who finally clicked in Game 4 once the Timberwolves were already down 3-0. He’s been off this series scoring the ball, shooting 27.8% from the floor over the first three games before connecting on 69.2% of his shots in Game 4. While I don’t think either number is an accurate reflection of Towns’ ability, I also don’t see him replicating Tuesday’s effort in Game 5. I’ll take the under on his points prop.

Anthony Edwards over 6.5 assists (-148)

The star forward has gone well over this line in all four games, making sure his teammates get involved and take some of the scoring burden off him. Even if Edwards doesn’t get assists early in the game, he has the ability to turn things on at a moment’s notice to get over this line. I can see him attempting to be more aggressive in Game 5 but it’s not like the Timberwolves have been getting smoked to the point where he has to change his strategy. Edwards should continue going over on his assist prop Thursday evening.

Jaden McDaniels over 1.5 3-pointers (-105)

McDaniels was awesome to start the series, connecting on six triples in Game 1. He’s gone over this mark in three of the four games, though two of those overs have been fairly muted in terms of impact. McDaniels shot just 21.7% from the perimeter in the first nine games this postseason but has boosted that number to 58.6% over the last six games. Like most role players, he tends to play better at home. His three-point percentage jumps by 10% in home games, so I’ll back him to go over this line tonight.
