The 2024 Women’s College World Series begins on May 30, with eight teams competing to be the Division I national champions of NCAA softball. Eight teams will be drawn into two four-team, double-elimination brackets. On June 5, both teams that win their bracket will face off in a best-of-three series to take home the trophy.
All games take place at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, the home of the National Softball Hall of Fame. And that’s just one more edge for the Oklahoma Sooners, who are the favorite to win their fourth-straight national championship. The 54-6 team is the No. 1 overall seed in the event, with a total team OPS of 1.126 and a team ERA of 1.85. Senior second baseman Tiare Jennings leads the roster with 22 home runs, and inside the circle Kierston Deal, Kelly Maxwell, and Nicole May have started 56 of 60 games played.
