After three thrilling contests in the 2024 Western Conference Finals, the Dallas Mavericks are looking to complete the sweep of the Minnesota Timberwolves and clinch a spot in the 2024 NBA Finals. The Mavericks will hope to put on one more thrilling performance in front of their home fans to get a win and then get some time off before the last series of the season.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite Mavericks player prop bets to target for Game 4 Tuesday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Luka Doncic 30+ points (-155)
Doncic’s official line is 30.5 with the over coming in at -115, but I like going down the half-point even if means a slight decrease in the odds. The Mavericks point guard has been unstoppable in this series, particularly in clutch moments. He’s averaging 32.7 points per game through three games, with 9 points per game coming in the final quarter. I don’t see the Timberwolves slowing Doncic down in Game 4 Tuesday evening.
P.J. Washington over 6.5 rebounds (-115)
Even though Washington’s perimeter shooting has dropped off (as expected), his impact in this series is still being felt defensively and on the glass. The forwards has gone over this line in two of the three games in this series, averaging 6.7 rebounds per game. Washington is averaging 7.8 rebounds per game over the last nine playoff games and should keep doing good work on the glass in Game 4. I like him to once again go over this line.
Kyrie Irving over 2.5 3-pointers (+102)
Irving has gone over this line in the last two games after failing to hit a single triple in the opening contest. The veteran point guard is on the doorstep of yet another Finals appearance, and he’s perfect in closeout games during his storied career. He’s found the balance with Doncic offensively and is actually averaging 10.3 points per game in the fourth quarter of this series. Irving has been able to turn things on offensively when he wants to, and his marksmanship from deep has been solid in these playoffs. I think he’ll go over this line as the Mavericks go for a sweep.
