The Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers will continue the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals Saturday evening, with the Celtics looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead while the Pacers hope to remain unbeaten at home in these playoffs. Boston has been better on the road than at home in the playoffs recently, so this will be an interesting clash of two teams who are operating from a position of strength.
Here’s a look at some of our favorite Celtics player prop bets to target for Game 3 Saturday, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jaylen Brown over 26.5 points (-105)
Indiana will likely give Brown some extra attention after he went for 40 points in Game 2 to follow up his clutch shots in Game 1. However, the Celtics forward has volume and streakiness on his side. Brown typically starts out aggressive and can quickly rack up the points. In a game where the Pacers could come out hot behind their home crowd, it’ll be up to Brown to mitigate that. I don’t know that he’ll hit 40 points again but he should get over this line.
Derrick White over 2.5 3-pointers (-135)
White has gone over this line in each of the last three games. He’s hit at least one triple in every playoff game and 2+ triples in all but two games. The guard has been shooting the ball extremely well from deep in the postseason, nailing 43.6% of his triples. He’s had success against Indiana and might have a favorable matchup if Tyrese Haliburton is ruled out. I’ll take White to make it four straight overs on this line.
Jrue Holiday over 5.5 assists (-125)
The veteran point guard has rediscovered his distributing touch a bit in this series, logging 18 assists combined in the first two games. Holiday has hit at least five assists in seven of the 12 playoff games, so he has come close to this line in most contests. Even though he only went over this line once in the five regular-season meetings against the Pacers, he’s on fire right now offensively. I’ll back him to go over this line again in Game 3.
