After debuting his first signature Jordan model last month with the Jumpman Jack, Travis Scott is back in familiar terrain with a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, set to release on Saturday for a retail price of $150.

It had appeared that Jordan Brand and Cactus Jack had decided to move away from Scott’s familiar Air Jordan 1 collabs, but perhaps the slight downturn in the sneaker industry as a whole has led them to return to the familiar embrace of a silhouette that seems too big to fail.
As I noted the last time I wrote about a Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low, the model is basically a signature shoe for him at this point. Previous iterations of Catcus Jack Air Jordan 1 Lows include:
- 2019: The Black/Dark Mocha colorway.
- 2021: A triple collab featuring Scott, Fragment and Jordan Brand
- 2022: The Black Phantom and the “Reverse Mocha” colorways
- 2023: The Olive colorway as well as a golf model
This Canary colorway dropping on Saturday has all the classic hallmarks of a Travis Scott x AJ 1 Low — the backward Swoosh, Cactus Jack branding on the left back heel tab and tongue and higher-than-normal quality materials. Additionally, this drop features a gum outsole for the first time in the history of this long-running collaboration. SNKRS also notes that the Canary Yellow and Racer Blue colorway is nod to Scott’s high school, Elkins, back in Missouri City, Texas. Scott even gifted pairs of this colorway to 661 seniors at the school.
Despite becoming less and less surprising and inspired as time goes on, Travis Scott AJ1 lows continue to do quite well on the resale market. The original Black/Dark Mocha colorway still has the highest average sale price at $1,853, which represents a 1284% price premium. The triple collab with Fragment isn’t far behind at an average sale price of $1,547, with the “Reverse Mocha” colorway also sitting above $1K at $1,171. If there is any sign of diminishing returns, it’s the fact that the two most recent models, the Black Phantom ($619) and Olive ($670) are both selling for less than $700 on StockX. The Elkins colorway dropping on Saturday has also hit StockX, currently sitting with an average price of $716 on 1,368 sales. So no matter if a Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low isn’t as exciting as it once may have been, it’s guaranteed to be a quick sellout. Best of luck to all looking to pick up a pair!
