The 2024 NCAA men’s lacrosse tournament will conclude this weekend, with the Final Four emanating from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The semifinals will take place on Saturday, May 25 before the championship round on Monday, May 27.
No. 1 Notre Dame is the defending national champion and will face No. 5 Denver at noon ET on Saturday. The Fighting Irish toppled Albany and No. 8 Georgetown to reach the semis while the Pioneers had to go through Michigan and No. 4 Syracuse to get here. Right afterwards, No. 7 Maryland will face No. 6 Virginia in a battle of former ACC rivals. The Terrapins went trough Princeton before upsetting No. 2 Duke to reach the semis. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers took out Saint Joseph’s in round one before surviving an overtime tilt against No. 3 Johns Hopkins to make the Final Four.
