The only matchup on tonight’s WNBA schedule will feature the Indiana Fever visiting the Seattle Storm at 10 p.m. ET. This will be one of the rare Fever games to not be broadcast national television, as it will only be available on WNBA League Pass and in local markets.
Indiana (0-4) is still in search of its first victory of the season and came close in an 88-84 loss to Connecticut on Monday. This back-and-forth bout was decided in the final seconds when Aliyah Boston missed what would’ve been a game-tying layup with 7.1 seconds to go. Seattle (1-3) also fell short on Monday in a 74-63 loss to New York. The Storm shot just 34.3% from the field and never led as the Liberty dominated them in the paint.
On the injury front, Nneka Ogwumike (ankle) is considered questionable for the Storm after missing the previous two contests.
Seattle enters the game as a 5.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 166. The Storm are listed as a -245 moneyline favorite, making the Fever a +200 underdog.
Fever vs. Storm, 10 p.m. ET
Pick ATS: Fever +5.5
Indiana has played better the last two games and nearly came up with a huge upset victory over Connecticut on Monday. The Fever will be facing a Storm team that is shooting a league-worst 38.1% from the field this season and has been missing their big offseason signing in Ogwumike. I think the visitors will take advantage of this and pick up their first win of the Caitlin Clark era this evening.
Over/Under: Under 166
This has the makings of a game that could get sloppy at times and both teams will probably have to work to get to 80 points. I’ll lean towards the under cashing for this midweek matchup.
