The Indianapolis Colts’ full schedule for 2024 was released on Wednesday, and they begin the year with a matchup against Houston at home. The Colts are hoping to fully utilize 2023 first-round pick Anthony Richardson this season after the quarterback sustained several injuries early in the year before a shoulder surgery in Week 4 sidelined him for the entirety of 2023. The Colts went 9-8 and failed to make the playoffs with Gardner Minshew as the starting QB for the majority of the season.
In the 2024 offseason, the Colts added veteran QB Joe Flacco as a backup and re-signed WR Michael Pittman Jr. They lost running back Zack Moss, who led the team in rushing yards last year after injuries and contract disputes kept RB Jonathan Taylor on the sidelines for several weeks. Taylor and the Colts came to an agreement ahead of the 2024 season, and the RB signed a three-year deal in Indy.
The Colts drafted defensive end Laiatu Latu and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell with their first two selections in the 2024 Draft. They also added offensive tackle Matt Goncalves and guard Tanor Bortolini in later rounds to fill out their O-line.
